The Grand Soleil 40 Performance (2008) is an elegant Italian performance cruiser that combines outstanding sailing characteristics with comfort and timeless design. This second owner example is the sought after owners version, featuring two cabins and generous storage space. With a 2.15 metre Performance keel, a Sparcraft Performance mast, hydraulic backstay and electric winches, she offers excellent stability, control and performance under sail. The yacht comes with a 2026 sail wardrobe, including a fully battened mainsail and high aspect jib, providing excellent performance and easy sail handling. Important technical maintenance has been carried out with great care: all seacocks and through hull fittings were replaced during the winter of 2023/2024, while the rigging and engine have been serviced annually. Until the winter of 2023/2024, the yacht was stored indoors in a heated shed every winter, contributing to her excellent overall condition and the mast and standing rigging were cleaned, checked, fitted and trimmed. The navigation equipment is modern and comprehensive, including a Raymarine Axiom+ 9" plotter, AIS700, Raymarine Ray63 VHF and AIS.
